VEGETATION IDENTIFICATION IN THE CITY OF LJUBLJANA – 2024

This project focuses on the precise identification of vegetation across the City of Ljubljana for 2024, supporting urban climate modelling, spatial planning, and vegetation management. The analysis combines advanced LiDAR processing, orthophoto interpretation, validation with existing tree databases, and the integration of spatial datasets from multiple institutions to map trees on both public and private land with a high level of detail and reliability.
