ENERGY BALANCE AND GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSION INVENTORY FOR THE CITY OF LJUBLJANA

The energy balance analyses the use of energy sources, including supply, transformation, and consumption of all energy carriers and sources in terms of primary and final energy by sector. It follows the OECD/EUROSTAT methodology. Based on the energy use data and relevant information on other GHG emission sources (agriculture, waste management, wastewater treatment), we estimate GHG emissions for reporting to international organisations such as CDP/ICLEI and the Global Covenant of Mayors, following IPCC and Global Protocol guidelines.
