ADVANCED URBAN VEGETATION MAPPING IN THE CITY OF LJUBLJANA

The project focuses on mapping and analysing the city's tree population using LiDAR and advanced machine-learning techniques. It enhances urban planning by providing detailed data on tree locations, species, and canopy structure. Additionally, it models the impact of vegetation on the urban heat island effect and develops strategies to mitigate heat stress in the city.
