🌳 From point cloud to tree – using AI to build a tree cadastre for Slovenia! 🌳

At the 37th Sedlar Meeting (Sedlarjevo srečanje), held on 16 October at Center Rog in Ljubljana, our colleague Tine Mlač presented how we at Envirodual d.o.o. used laser scanning (LiDAR), machine learning and artificial intelligence to develop a digital tree cadastre covering all 212 Slovenian municipalities.

🌿 We showed how modern technologies can support more effective tree monitoring, green space planning and the adaptation of cities to climate change.
